Overview
Installing an SSL certificate helps secure your website. Follow these steps to install one in DirectAdmin.
Steps to Install SSL:
- Log in to DirectAdmin.
- Navigate to the Account Manager and select SSL Certificates.
- Choose whether you want to generate a Let's Encrypt SSL or upload your own certificate.
- For Let’s Encrypt SSL, click Save and follow the prompts.
- If you have a purchased SSL certificate, paste the certificate details in the provided fields and click Save.
Note:
SSL installation can take a few minutes. Once installed, your site will be accessible via HTTPS.
